Ms. Roxanna has been practicing yoga for the past 12 years. She received her Yoga Teacher Training (YTT 200 hrs) in December 2018 and has been instructing yoga since November 2017.

Pre-pandemic, Roxanna taught at yoga studios in Mississauga and with a Condo company for condo residents. Roxanna also teaches private clients in their home. Since the pandemic began Roxanna has continued to teach yoga, virtually using the Zoom platform. Her classes are a Vinyasa style and are geared to power, flow, gentle, and deep stretch practices. Previous to her career as a yoga instructor, Roxanna worked in the field of Early Childhood Education and holds a Bachelor’s degree in English (BA) from York University, a diploma in Early Childhood Education (RECE) from Centennial College, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) from Queen’s University. She also holds a diploma in Social Work from University of Waterloo, and a certificate in Teaching Adults from Durham College. Roxanna worked in the field if Early Childhood Education and Social Services for 32 years, acting as a front line ECE, centre supervisor, manager and executive director. She has also taught Early Childhood Education at a number of community and private colleges. Most recently, after earning her YTT 200, Roxanna completed two courses in Teaching Yoga to seniors, as well as courses in Yoga for 12 Step Recovery, Subtle Yoga, 2 courses in Thai Yoga Massage, and is currently completing a 300-hour yoga therapy course and a prenatal yoga certification.

Roxanna is a registered member of the Canadian Yoga Alliance, RYT 250.
