Ms. Ariana is an enthusiastic musician and music educator. With over 15 years in the field of early childhood music, Ariana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, an Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Music Education from the Royal Conservatory of Music as well as a Masters Degree in Music Education from Western University.
Ariana’s philosophy is based on her belief that everyone is born musical and therefore has the right to develop their potential and musical skills in a manner that is engaging and respects one’s unique learning process. When planning each music program, Ariana takes into consideration the fact that music is universal, but learning is particular. She uses her training in the multiple philosophies of music education (Kodaly, Orff, Dalcroze) as well as children’s individualities to help guide them in their musical journey.
A child’s exposure to music education can be a gateway for other learning, the foundation of a profession or simply a hobby. Ariana’s work is to develop children’s musicality early in life in order to make sure that how music impacts their lives becomes a choice for the future.
